The experience
In the vast heritage of territorial and anthropological history, popular dances have always represented, before anything else, a strong element of socialization and participation of the community in social life and a medium of aggregation, a form of self-knowledge, expression and care of the soul. In fact, in their structure a ritual is handed down that allows meeting and sharing between different generations, and the well-being deriving from the strengthening of identity awareness. Popular music therefore represents the common thread between many different elements that recall, in a strong and direct way, clear images of village festivals, the joy shared with one’s own people, in one’s own land. All you have to do is let yourself be carried away by the sound of the bagpipe, the shawm and the inevitable “castanetta”, which will guide your steps on a profound emotional journey.
