Enhance the culture of food and tell the origin of traditional dishes through an innovative and immersive experience. With this objective, Mute was born in via Bracco 51 in Naples, the first museum of the Campania food and wine tradition, from an idea of 2 Neapolitan entrepreneurs and the contribution of the Campania Region. Seven shop windows on the street, over a thousand square meters divided into three floors, including exhibition rooms belonging to the history of Neapolitan and Campania cuisine, and specific areas dedicated to events and educational workshops where technological innovation will be a precious ingredient.
At the beginning of the year the first level will be opened, where it will be possible to taste the dairy and delicatessen products of the “casadduoglio”, the seafood sausages, the light and crunchy pizza nel ruoto, the corner with the typical fried cuoppi and many products selected by experts among large and small companies in Campania.
Through knowledge of the mastery of the past and the tasting of unique and unmistakable products, it will be possible to (re)discover the art and beauty of a culture with deep roots.
The MUTE Museum is an anthology of flavors and traditions of the Campania community, historical testimony of past generations and food and wine heritage of future generations. Each guest is accompanied on a cultural and culinary journey capable of fascinating, amusing and entertaining with guided tours, themed tastings and educational events for adults and children.
II MUTE is designed for tourism, teaching and food lovers. It also offers the possibility of purchasing unique, high-quality products from the best companies in the Campania food and wine supply chain.
